- Instrument check. Pressure gauge, multimeter, thermocouple, manufacturer diagnostic mode — whatever the platform needs. No guessing.
- Written quote. Part numbers, labor hours, total. Signed before any billable work starts.
- Repair. Completed same-visit in over 90% of calls. Parts sourced overnight for the rest.
What it typically costs
Most in-home repairs land between $180 and $520. Sealed-system work (compressor, evaporator, capillary tube) is quoted separately and often makes more sense than replacement on Sub-Zero and built-in units.
We’re one of the few Bay Area shops that still rebuilds Sub-Zero compressor decks in place — no $4,000 box swap if we can avoid it.
